Overall rating
Great old Portland house large enough for our extended family. Both fun for the kids and comfortable for the adults. Close enough to downtown and the river. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Kendra was very responsive, friendly and helpful.

Quiet and spacious home with comfortable furniture and beds. Plentiful high quality bath towels and fresh linens. We’d come back again.

Beautiful home in highly walkable neighborhood. Great accommodation for our group of 12 after finishing STP. Kendra was highly responsive leading up to & during our stay. She helped us with bag storage accommodations after checkout- really above & beyond! Highly recommend this home for your stay in Portland.

Decent location, with a collection of nice coffee shops and sandwich shops just a block or two away. At the same time a bit of a transitional neighborhood too. Pretty convenient for the Convention Center, 5-10 mins drive away. Nice to have AC as it was hot a couple of the days, we couldn’t quite figure out how to make it work well though, it didn’t seem to cool that well unless you put it on surge. Some of the units were in C, some in F, which was a bit confusing, and they didn’t show the room temp, only the target temp. Good kitchen, and nice to have 5 bedrooms although we didn’t need them all. Decent street parking available nearby.

Kendra’s place was great! Ample space for our 11 person group. While the weather was cool during our stay, knowing there was A/C set our minds at ease. As with most older homes, the kitchen was funky, but it had everything we needed. The location was walking distance from restaurants, bars, and shops. The host, Kendra, was very responsive and we would definitely stay here again.

What a fabulous house. Better than the pictures! Easy walk to lots of restaurants and bus line. Spacious and charming. Parking is a little bit of a problem, but we managed just fine.

You're in Kerns - one of NE Portland's best-kept secrets for food. The neighborhood is centered around the 28th Avenue restaurant corridor, where you can walk to James Beard-nominated dinners, authentic Cuban food, craft beer, and Vietnamese cocktails without ever needing a car. Han Oak is the standout - chef Peter Cho's Korean restaurant has been featured on Netflix's Ugly Delicious and Somebody Feed Phil, and he's a multiple James Beard Award nominee. The seasonal tasting menus are built around Oregon ingredients and Korean traditions, and late nights sometimes turn into karaoke (seriously). Book ahead - this one fills up. Pambiche is a Portland institution serving Cuban family recipes since 2000. The building is impossible to miss (painted floor-to-ceiling in Caribbean colors with a massive Havana mural), and the lechón asado and mojitos are the real deal. No reservations, just walk in. Friendship Kitchen does incredible Vietnamese food with creative cocktails - the pho and bánh mì are some of the best in Portland, and the patio is great on warm evenings. Migration Brewing is our go-to for craft beer - a converted radiator shop with 30 taps, garage door walls that open up in summer, and a dog-friendly patio. Seven Virtues Coffee Roasters is a family-owned neighborhood roaster doing single-origin coffee and house-made food - the perfect morning start. A few of our favorites nearby: 🍜 Han Oak - James Beard-nominated Korean, featured on Netflix (book ahead) 🇨🇺 Pambiche - authentic Cuban since 2000, walk-in only, don't skip dessert 🍲 Friendship Kitchen - Vietnamese pho, bánh mì, and creative cocktails 🍺 Migration Brewing - 30 taps, garage-door patio, dog-friendly ☕ Seven Virtues - family-owned single-origin roaster since 2007 The neighborhood is flat, walkable, and well connected by bus. You're a short ride to Hawthorne, Burnside, and downtown, but with this many options on your doorstep, you may not want to leave.
