SE Portland rentals, especially around Hawthorne-Belmont, sit in the middle of the city's densest concentration of breweries and beer bars. Rates here typically run below the Pearl District. For most beer-focused trips this is the strongest base.
Mississippi Avenue rentals and Alberta Arts District rentals each give you a compact strip you can work through on foot, plus restaurants and bars in between. NE Portland rentals more broadly are good value with reliable bus service downtown.
NW Portland rentals and Nob Hill are walkable and central, with the streetcar connecting you to downtown. Pearl District rentals are the most central option if you want to spread your trip across several neighbourhoods rather than settle into one.
No festival, no booking deadline. Late July is still a busy summer month in Portland, but nothing about the Oregon Brewers Festival should be rushing your dates, because it is not happening.
Get a kitchen anyway. Longer stays go better with somewhere to make breakfast. Most of our properties have full kitchens, and grocery stores are walkable from the neighbourhoods above.
Skip the car for taproom days. Bus, MAX, streetcar, bike and rideshare all cover the brewery neighbourhoods well. Many properties include parking if you are driving into town, but you will not want it in the evenings.
