The location was wonderful, very comfortable beds with blackout curtains! We slept really well. I did think it was strange that there was no heat in the house and no extra blankets. There are a few things that I would add to make it more comfortable for guests- including a teapot, hand & bath towel holders in the bathroom and I would recommend getting the dishwasher checked out because it only worked sometimes and water leaked out one time. (Which was a pain to clean up) Also, the TV and internet had major issues for a majority of our stay so we didn’t get to veg out like we wanted to. I would recommend having the owners stay in the house for a week and seeing how they feel about the accommodations.

Aj’s property is located in a great walkable neighborhood. The property itself is charming and we appreciated the Keurig and coffee pods. It was nice to have such a great place that was pet friendly with 4 bedrooms and enough space to hang out in living room. Additionally, Aj is a very responsive and friendly host.

We had five adult women and all of us enjoyed the stay. Went to a concert at Alberta Rose Theater and it was so close. So many options for food and shopping. The house reminded me of my grandma’s bungalow and I just felt very at home. I loved all the creaks of the older home. A lot of character in the home.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here! The house was cute, clean, and the beds were comfy :) Our host was also wonderful! Incredibly fast response times, which made communicating about check-in/out a breeze.

We enjoyed staying so close to all that amazing Alberta Street shops! The home was clean and well organized. It was updated but still had all the charm with the built ins and old home finishes. We also appreciated the great shower pressure!

A vibrant corridor of murals, independent shops, craft cocktail bars, and some of Portland's best brunch spots. Last Thursday art walks (May–September) transform the street into an open-air gallery.
