Great, convenient location in the Mississippi neighborhood, right on the main drag. David was a responsive and helpful host throughout our stay. The apartment itself was clean, modern, and well maintained. It is located on the basement level, so it doesn’t get a lot of natural light, though that really isn’t an issue unless you plan to spend most of your time indoors. The only suggestion I would make is adding a dehumidifier. Because the apartment is below ground with limited windows, the space becomes quite humid if more than one person showers within a short period of time, and there’s no easy way to ventilate it.

We had a fantastic stay at The Spanish Flat on Mississippi Ave. David was a wonderful host—communicative, welcoming, and made everything feel easy from start to finish. The flat itself was exactly as pictured: clean, comfortable, and full of charm. It ended up being the perfect place for our group to gather at the end of each day—an ideal space to unwind, talk, and reconnect. The neighborhood is a real highlight. Mississippi Ave is lively without being overwhelming, with great restaurants, bars, and shops all within easy walking distance. It added so much to the overall experience of the trip. We were in Portland for my son’s film premiere at the Portland Film Festival, and this place couldn’t have been a better home base for such a special occasion. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

We had an amazing stay right on Mississippi Street—truly a 5-star experience from start to finish. The location couldn’t have been better, with so many great restaurants, coffee shops, and local spots just steps away. The space itself was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. The host was fantastic—super responsive, welcoming, and made the whole process seamless. You can tell they really care about creating a great experience for their guests. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect base in the area!

This was a really cool place to stay. It's charming, clean, and near all the action. I highly recommend staying here and taking advantage of the prime location.

Davis’s place was lovely. Located in an area near to restaurants, boutiques, a food truck lot and pet store. Easy access to downtown. Ample street parking but the additional stall in the back alley was a nice convenience. One thing to note: this is a basement space in an older property, so you will likely hear the occupants above. Otherwise, David as a host was wonderful! Super communicative and thoughtful; checked in with us regularly to ensure we weren’t in need of anything. Responses were prompt and helpful. We would stay at David’s place again!
