Great space! The space was a nice getaway. Area was walkable and conveniently located near a grocery store. The neighborhood was nice as well!

Daniel got back to me right away with any questions. The place is private & quiet. The only drawback for us was there was only a Keurig—no coffee maker or French press.

Excelente lugar para conocer! Muy céntrico, vengo de México y seguro me volveré a hospedar ahí 🤓

I’ve been staying at a few different places around Portland to figure out which area I’d want to move to next and Daniel’s definitely helped me see a possibility of moving to the Hawthorne District! The place was cozy and well-designed for how compact it was. Everything was clean and I appreciated all the spices and coffee options provided. It’s easy to access public transit and the bus was literally a 5-minte walk away. Just fyi that the laundry is not in unit but is in the basement of the main apartment building but there’s communal quarters for you to use. Neighbors above me were a tad rowdy but otherwise it was a lovely and peaceful stay!

I had a fantastic stay at Daniel’s place while visiting Portland. The location was perfect for getting around and exploring everything I needed during my trip. Since I’m planning to move to the Portland area, this visit was all about checking out neighborhoods and finding a future apartment—and staying here made that process so much easier. After long days of walking and exploring, it was great to come back to such a comfortable and relaxing space. The apartment had everything I needed, and it even gave me some inspiration for how I’d like to set up my own place when I move in May. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend staying here!

Eclectic vintage shops, independent bookstores, and walkable dining along two of Portland's most iconic streets. Mt. Tabor Park, an extinct volcanic cinder cone with panoramic city views, is a short walk east.

Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District puts you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors, with no chain restaurants in sight! Make new friends over vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, get messy with wings right around the corner at Fire on the Mountain, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or opt for a fancy night out at Castagna—all within a 1.5-mile stretch. Portland isn't just for foodies; the vibrant indie spirit of Hawthorne is alive with plenty of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques to explore. Catch a movie at the Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. If bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor, a 196-acre city park atop a dormant volcano vent, where you’ll find miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city.
