Well, what a find. Awesome little place on a cool street in Portland. The apartment has everything you need for two people and was in a safe area. Daniel was great, super friendly and so quick to help with anything we needed. Top man, thanks Daniel. Book it, you won’t look back 👍

Daniel’s place was adorable. It had all the amenities that we needed for our short stay. We loved exploring the neighborhood.

Daniel’s Airbnb worked out great for me. It was located in an ideal location in the Hawthorne District that offered a ton of dining options as well as great walking options, including Laurelhurst Park and Mount Tabor Park. Daniel was very responsive in his communications and provided some great dining recommendations to meet my dietary requirements. I would definitely return to this Airbnb for future Portland visits. I should note that if you are sensitive to noises, there is a unit above the Airbnb and you will hear noises above if that unit is rented.

Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District puts you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors, with no chain restaurants in sight! Make new friends over vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, get messy with wings right around the corner at Fire on the Mountain, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or opt for a fancy night out at Castagna—all within a 1.5-mile stretch. Portland isn't just for foodies; the vibrant indie spirit of Hawthorne is alive with plenty of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques to explore. Catch a movie at the Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. If bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor, a 196-acre city park atop a dormant volcano vent, where you’ll find miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city.
