Wonderful location. Easy to check in and out. The description is accurate and the place was clean and well furnished. Because it is a basement unit, you might experience some noise from upstairs but unless you are sensitive to noise it shouldn't be a problem as it was fairly minor. Parking can be a bit of a challenge in this area but in our week long stay we only struggled to find a spot once or twice.

Staying here was overall great! We did have some issues with the gate and the code didn’t work on it after we were told it was changed. The door code was fine. Thankfully I am tall and could reach over the fence and push the bar from the other side to get us in but that could have been a problem for others. Jordan did provide us an alternative lockbox but that didn’t seem to work either, but also may have been our fault and we might have tried the wrong lockbox. Oops! Overall, the space was clean and we loved opening the double doors when the weather was nice! I will caution there is no microwave, but you can obviously use the stove or oven to reheat. Location is great with a brewery across the street and grocery store and tons of restaurants nearby. We appreciated the nicely scented shower products as well. We loved this place for our group of 4! Thank you for having us!

We stayed at Jordan’s place for 4 nights. The beds were super comfortable, the setting was adorable, loved the walk-in shower! We would absolutely stay again when we’re in the area. It was great being able to walk down the street to shopping and food. And the pub across the street serves a mean burger! Parking was paid during the day, but always easy to access. Thank you for a great stay!

Great place. Not as close to downtown for a quick walk, but still doable. The tenants above can be a little loud, so bring ear plugs or it would be useful to have a fan in each bedroom for noise reduction. Lots of bars and restaurants close by.

Jordan was a very nice host and responsive. However, the place lacked in a few areas. Firstly, the entrance was somewhat difficult to find. There’s a gate and then a door that leads into the entrance of the unit. The biggest concern was this: Upon entering, there is a door that leads into another unit. The host said that it wasn’t intended to be used to access our unit, but intention doesn’t guarantee safety or security. It did have a lock, but it wasn’t clear if the person on the other side has the ability to open the door. From what I could tell, I could not access the inside of that unit either. Honestly a concern for both people in both units. A bit unsettling. Overall the unit was noisy. Noise from the street, noise from the upstairs, and noise from the pipes. You definitely feel like you’re in a basement and you are 100%. The last thing that happened was water entered our unit from the walls and floors somehow. Not ideal for the first night and not much solution offered. Pass

Portland's most walkable urban neighborhood — converted warehouses, art galleries, upscale dining, and Powell's City of Books. First Thursday gallery walks draw crowds monthly.
