Jeff was an absolute rockstar of a host! Before we even arrived, he sent a tailored list of local spots (including great vegan recommendations). He was incredibly communicative, answering within minutes despite a time difference, and made us feel so welcome. The house was so comfy, warm, and felt incredibly homey-perfectly stocked with coffee, tea, and kitchen essentials. It’s in the best location for walking through fabulous neighborhoods. Jeff even went above and beyond when I thought I lost a pair of irreplaceable pants, staying in touch to help me sort it out. Safe, comfortable, and full of good vibes—book this place!

This is PRIME stay in Hawthorne! Walking distance to some of the best in the neighborhood. A short walk to Lardo, Cartopia, and Hawthorne Asylum. If you are a foodie solo traveler, or a couple, look no further. The third floor walk up has a gated entry to the building and felt safe the entire time. Parking was easy to find and right in front of the building. Jeff was highly responsive and answered any questions I had during my stay. He was proactive in relational and it made it feel like I was staying with a friend. It was a great experience and a great Portland neighborhood. THANKS Jeff!
