Great location, super close to lots to do/eat. We were never more than a 10-15 minute drive from most things. When we needed something, Jeff’s team handled it promptly. Would stay again.

I found this place to be clean, comfortable and affordable. The hotels in the area were of a similar price range, but did not sound appealing, so I decided to try an Airbnb instead. I stayed for only one night, but I could see that the space could be a comfortable setting for several days if necessary. The house is clearly very old, and it reminded me of my grandparent's houses with the wood cabinetry in the walls, the push-button antique light switches and the vintage door handles. It made me wonder just how many lives this house has seen pass through its hallways. I appreciated the age of the house, as well as the friendliness of the neighborhood. I was surprised to find a unique local record shop across the street, and a wonderful little coffee shop on the same block. The house was easy to find - right off the corner of a popular street, and parking was never a problem. I'll visit again if the opportunity presents itself.

I stayed there. It was a great location. Jeff was very good at communication. It was a really nice place. Very quiet. Would stay there again.

Eclectic vintage shops, independent bookstores, and walkable dining along two of Portland's most iconic streets. Mt. Tabor Park, an extinct volcanic cinder cone with panoramic city views, is a short walk east.

Portland, Oregon, United States
Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District places you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors—no chain restaurants here! Enjoy vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or opt for an elegant night out at Castagna—all within a 1.5-mile stretch. But Portland isn’t just for foodies. The vibrant indie spirit of Hawthorne is alive with a multitude of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques, making it a true hipster haven. Catch a movie at Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. If bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor. This 196-acre city park, located atop a dormant volcano vent, offers miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city, providing a perfect escape into nature right within the city limits. Whether you're a foodie, a nature enthusiast, or someone who loves exploring unique shops, the Hawthorne/Buckman District has something special for everyone.
