Elegant NW Portland Suites - Central Walkable Stay

Overall, very pleasant stay at Hayden's home in Portland. It's centrally located - walkable to restaurants but also not far from the train station, downtown and Vancouver, WA waterfront (which was my favorite). Important to note that the bedroom is on the third floor and there is one AC unit on the second floor of the home. It was manageable the first couple of days while it was breezy outside, but did get a little toasty when the weather warmed up. Hayden was extremely quick and communicative. She accommodated an early check in as our flight arrived in the morning. Parking is a little tricky but as others and Hayden recommended - ParkingKitty makes it easier to manage.

Overall, we enjoyed staying at Hayden's place. It was smaller than expected but it was as described and pictured in the photos. Please be aware that there are several flights of stairs at the entrance of the unit. This can be a bit challenging for guests with heavy luggage. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were our favorite! We wished we could have stayed one more night. We felt like we could have visited other places in Portland had our check-in time been earlier than 4pm. We asked for early check-in, but unfortunately we were told the cleaners were inside the unit. Hayden would reach out to us once they were finished but sadly we ended up checking-in at 4pm. Fortunately, the place was quiet throughout the night and we'd like to thank the host for letting us stay here.

Had a great experience here from start to finish. The space was clean and matched the listing photos. The host was quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed. Finding parking wasn’t bad either. We did not mind, but just a heads up, there are some stairs to go up before getting to the apartment.

Parking was easy. Recommend the parking kitty app. Has a nice tree outside of the windows. Otherwise, no neighbor's windows right across the street, feels private. Everything was great except I have to say no to microfiber sheets. The bed itself was very comfortable. Very clean. Would be great for a longer stay with a washer and dryer in the unit. Plenty of instant hot water with good pressure.
