Stayed here for the location and turned out to be just what we needed! The apartment is a lower level apartment, so it's definitely dark, but very simple and the bedroom was clean and quiet which was all we really needed. Kimberly was super responsive and helpful.

Kimberly’s place was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. She is an excellent communicator. Would stay here again.

Kimberly was excellent at communication! Location was walkable to lots of bars and restaurants. There was a funny smell but I think it’s just because it’s an older home and this rental is in the basement. The smell wasn’t due to a lack of cleaning.

Make new friends over vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or opt for a fancy night out at Castagna—all within a 1.5-mile stretch. But Portland isn't just for foodies. Hawthorne boasts a vibrant indie spirit, with plenty of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques to explore in this hipster haven. Catch a movie at Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews.
