Overall our stay was easy and we loved the location. Delanie was communicative and the apartment was clean. We would just warn future guests that you can hear EVERYTHING from the neighbors down to the videos they play on their phones. The apartment is also quite dark even on sunny days (and there isn’t really a patio space). Again, those are not major issues with the space, just giving a heads up :)

Exceptional stay in the heart of Central East Side! Delanie was on top of everything! I booked and had instructions almost immediately - clean and spacious home lots to do in the area, AMAZING price. Stay here!

Portland, Oregon, United States of America
Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District places you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors—no chain restaurants here! This vibrant area boasts a Powell's bookstore, Blue Star Donuts, music venues, and much more. Make new friends over vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, get messy with wings at Fire on the Mountain, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or enjoy a fancy night out at Castagna—all within a 1.5-mile stretch. But Portland isn't just for foodies. The vibrant indie spirit thrives in Hawthorne, with numerous made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques to explore in this hipster haven. Catch a movie at the Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. If bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of fun, head up to Mt. Tabor, a 196-acre city park atop a dormant volcano vent, where you’ll find miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city. To truly experience Portland, this is the area you need to stay in! Enjoy the perfect blend of culinary delights, local culture, and natural beauty in the Hawthorne/Buckman District.
