This apartment was so beautiful. We love older buildings, wood floors, and big windows. We also love to park our car and walk everywhere. There are so many yummy coffee shops and restaurants to walk to!

The best thing about David's place was the coffee shop around the corner. Old Friends Coffee was simple and delicious. The Airbnb was clean but smaller than expected. Really noisy upstairs neighbor and we had people going through the outside garbage at night. Location was good, a nice walk to food and shopping. It would have been nice to know that it was across the street from a methadone clinic. David communicated great and the price was good.

We had an amazing stay at David’s. The location was awesome and David was a fantastic communicator. We were able to add an extra person and check-in check-out was flexible. We rate the place 5 stars! Only heads up is that after 10 you need to be very quiet.

David was extremely communicative and helpful! The place was in a great location with lots of fun stuff to do around. Highly recommend!

David was very responsive & kind. We found one parking spot on the block, making parking fairly convenient. I can see how parking may be limited at times. However the place was not accurately pictured or described. The building is very very old, creaky and oddly creepy. Windows are very old. Some do not open. For the price, I expected a better quality place that gave old school vibes.

Eclectic vintage shops, independent bookstores, and walkable dining along two of Portland's most iconic streets. Mt. Tabor Park, an extinct volcanic cinder cone with panoramic city views, is a short walk east.

Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District puts you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors—no chain restaurants here! Make new friends over vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or enjoy a fancy night out at Castagna, all within a 1.5-mile stretch. But Portland isn't just for foodies. The vibrant indie spirit thrives in Hawthorne, with plenty of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques to explore in this hipster haven. Catch a movie at the Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. If bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor, a 196-acre city park on top of a dormant volcano vent. Here, you’ll find miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city. Enjoy the perfect blend of urban excitement and natural beauty in the Hawthorne/Buckman District!
