Review Highlights

Spacious, spotless apartment in a vibrant walkable neighborhood with excellent restaurants and coffee nearby. Perfect for work or leisure with responsive hosting and reliable amenities.

Aaron was awesome. I stayed there for about six weeks. Every problem was handled quickly and approariately, and I was thanked for bringing the problem to his attention! The neighborhood was a plus too. There was a small but excellent Indian restaurant nextdoor (many vegan offerings and interesting cocktails). The Kabob restaurant directly across the street served authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. A bakery nextdoor to it served both sweet and savory pastries, which you could linger over in their charming self-seating room over a cup of coffee. Down at Hawthorne and 12th, there was a nice Thai stall alongside Middle Eastern and Mexican offerings. I never ran out of things to do

Love it! Had to stay for 17 days for work and staying here instead of a hotel made my long stay so much better.

I was here for a two week work trip and would 100% come back even for vacation. The host was great and responsive, the space felt huge, there was so much around but it was still relatively quite, and my dog loved it. Great stay all around!

Great location, pretty walkable area. The property management company and Aaron was quick and responsive. My only hiccup was checking-in. The instructions only provided the deadlock code. I had to hop onto a call to access the lock box with the physical key. Gathered that the physical lock was accidentally locked before my arrival. On the bright side, the situation allowed me double security with the key and deadlock!

Neighborhood highlights

Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District places you within walking distance of an incredible array of top-notch local flavors (no chain restaurants here!). Indulge in vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, savor wings right around the corner at Fire on the Mountain, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or opt for an elegant evening at Castagna—all within a 1.5-mile stretch. Portland's charm extends beyond its culinary delights. The vibrant indie spirit of the Hawthorne area is alive with a multitude of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques, making it a true hipster haven. Catch a movie at Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. If bar hopping isn’t your preferred activity, head up to Mt. Tabor, a 196-acre city park atop a dormant volcano vent. Here, you’ll find miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city, providing a perfect escape into nature right within the city limits. Whether you're a foodie, a nature enthusiast, or someone who loves exploring unique shops, the Hawthorne/Buckman District offers something special for everyone.
