Great host and great place! Super convenient location (OK Omens right across the street is a wonderful dinner spot) and plenty of street parking nearby. Highly recommend!

Cute 2-bed/1-bath apartment in a very walkable area of Portland. Everything was clean and ready for us with clear access instructions. It is a 3rd floor walk-up as described; we appreciated knowing that in advance since some air bnb hosts don't include that type of info in the listing! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and tools, the beds comfy, and the area easy to park in. Only minor issue was the weather being VERY hot (nearly 90F) and the AC not being able to cool the house below about 76F, and with no AC in the bedrooms sleeping was less than comfortable. But we recognized that those temps are abnormal for the area and appreciated one of the rooms had a box fan to use. In all, we enjoyed our stay. :)

This place was perfect! The apartment was exactly as described, clean and comfortable in a great walkable location. Mike provided clear instructions and was responsive throughout the booking process and our stay. He was also very flexible with one special request I made, which we really appreciated! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place.

Traveled as two couples in our 30s for food/bev and to show our visiting friends around Portland. Pros: Host was super kind and very responsive, offering reccs and early check in as cleaners finished up. The unit itself was clean. Easy 20- 30 min walk to our typical hangout spots. Cons: More college dorm vibes than I was expecting from the pics/reviews. Bedrooms were both pretty hot with poor air flow on a summer night even with bedroom doors left open and box fan running. (Host does disclose this though in the description). Beds were pretty uncomfortable due to rickety frames. Could use some blackout curtains to block out motion lights from the streets that flashed on and off constantly through the blinds. We only stayed a night so it was fine. Longer than that would’ve been a bit rough sleeping wise.

Eclectic vintage shops, independent bookstores, and walkable dining along two of Portland's most iconic streets. Mt. Tabor Park, an extinct volcanic cinder cone with panoramic city views, is a short walk east.

Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District places you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors, with no chain restaurants in sight! Make new friends over vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, indulge in delicious wings right around the corner at Fire on the Mountain, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or enjoy a fancy night out at Castagna—all within a 1.5-mile stretch.
