The location was great, and getting inside was very easy. The space was quiet, which we appreciated. There were a few areas that could use some improvement. The beds were quite firm, which may not be comfortable for everyone. The couch shows significant wear and could use an update. If you’re staying in the upstairs room, there’s a large skylight above the bed, so bringing an eye mask might help if you’re sensitive to light. Overall, for the location and price, it works well for a short stay. If you’re looking for a more cozy, lounge-friendly space with more comfortable beds, it may not be the best fit.

Loved it! It was clean and comfortable and near many, many food options. The instructions to get in were clear. The departing instructions were also easy to follow, and minimal, which were appreciated. There was a rapid response from Delanie re. the volume control on the tv. --(which was our ineptitude!) I would stay again

Delanie was a great host! Her unit was exactly as advertised and we had the best time. If I’m ever back in Portland I will definitely stay here again!

Shortly after arriving, I found the balcony door didn't lock. The host was unable to provide a screwdriver so I could fix it or a locksmith until the next day. Because of this safety issue and because they seem unfamiliar with the unit they're hosting, I cancelled my stay and received a full refund. Like a previous reviewer, I also encountered feathers, poorly vacuumed floors, very dirty floors on the sides of the washer/dryer, etc. I would have managed all of that if the balcony door had locked, but wouldn't have booked again. Some general FYIs that weren't clear to me from the listing: this is a 2nd and 3rd floor apartment. Everything is on the 2nd floor except the larger bedroom and there is an apartment below. It's more rundown than the pictures show (I think that's somewhat reflected in the cost.) If traveling with a cat, there is $199 fee, and they are not allowed on upholstered furniture or beds and must be crated if unattended.

Nice dog friendly place in a central location. First week of January is pretty sleepy at this location.

Portland's most eclectic, walkable neighborhoods — Hawthorne, Division, Belmont, and Clinton — with independent shops, food carts, and vibrant dining.
