Had a really amazing stay here! It's the perfect place to explore Portland, especially when traveling solo!! Walking distance to everything you could want - shops, restaurants, groceries, cute parks, really nice safe-feeling neighborhoods with sidewalks to get around. The home was small in a cozy way, not cramped, and so functional! Shower had great water pressure (something I know people are always curious about), there were spices and appliances for cooking in the kitchen, a box fan (perfect for white noise at night for light sleepers), a lamp near the bed for reading, good wifi... I really could not have asked for a better place!

Conveniently located and exactly as described, we had a great overnight experience staying here. Daniel was extremely communicative and gave plenty of information. Love how easy the checkout procedure (or lack thereof really) was!

Daniel was super responsive and very helpful, he even allowed us to checkout an hour later due to me working. Such a great location and super cozy. Would love to have a few blankets in the space, but other than that, it was a great place a a quick 2 night stay!!

Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District puts you within walking distance to a wide variety of top-notch local flavors (no chain restaurants here!) Make new friends over some vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or opt for a fancy night out at Castagna - all within a 1.5 mile stretch. But Portland isn't just for foodies. There’s vibrant indie spirit in Hawthorne, with lots of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques to explore here in hipster heaven. Or, catch a movie at Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. And if bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor, a 196-acre city park on top of a dormant volcano vent, where you’ll find miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city.
