The place is in a great location, easy and free parking on the street. The house is comfortable and had everything we could have needed. Coffee was also a nice bonus, and appreciated.

Overall, great place to stay, especially for the price! Kimberly was very responsive and helped with any questions I had before my stay. I was a bit confused when I first arrived because the listing showed pictures of two different couches, and when I asked about this I was told there were two couches, one of which was a pull-out. There is only one small couch in this listing, and I didn't end up needing the extra couch, so it all worked out, but if I was planning to have a larger couch that could have been an issue. The place felt very clean, and the bed is super comfortable! Both TVs worked great for me as well. The fan in the bathroom makes an awful noise, so I just didn't end up using it, but I'm sure that's fixable. The location felt safe as well, and it's super walkable to lots of restaurants and cute shops!

Eclectic vintage shops, independent bookstores, and walkable dining along two of Portland's most iconic streets. Mt. Tabor Park, an extinct volcanic cinder cone with panoramic city views, is a short walk east.

Portland, Oregon, United States
Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District places you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors (no chain restaurants here!). Make new friends over vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or opt for a fancy night out at Castagna—all within a 1.5-mile stretch. But Portland isn't just for foodies. Hawthorne boasts a vibrant indie spirit, with plenty of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques to explore in this hipster haven. Catch a movie at Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. If bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor, a 196-acre city park on top of a dormant volcano vent, where you’ll find miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city.
