Great place to gather for friends and family. Location was near lots of great coffee shops. Less than .4 miles. Good space for family gathering. Beds very comfortable. There was a small leak under bathroom sink and they fixed it pronto. Just lacking a few kitchen items.. would have loved a toaster and some cutting boards. Also no place to hang clothes in master bedroom . Bathrooms were devoid of simple shelves to put toilet items. One has to be extremely careful not to knock tooth brush off side of sink else it is gone into crevice where it will be lost. I lost a toothbrush and noticed there were five other items that prior guests had lost including some electronics. Simple cover would could also act as shelf 😎

Fantastic host, very responsive and helpful. The place was clean, very easy entry/checkout, and downstairs was a comfortable layout for our sisters to hang out. Host went above/beyond to provide extra fans and floor-stand ACs to help in 3 bedrooms because we visited in a heat wave. So appreciated! The old-fashioned home is charming and quintessentially Portland, but the house’s age means that the 4th bedroom is compromised (no outlets, unable to open the only window, low ceiling). The host did his best to help, but due to lack of ventilation, we couldn’t use that room. We made it work by sharing the other 3 (lovely, very comfortable!) bedrooms, but it wasn’t what we expected. I do appreciate his attempt to help.

The location is convenient to bus and metro lines. Communication with the host was excellent. No problems getting in. This modest house met expectations and worked well for our group, but we didn't spend much time there (we were attending a conference downtown).
