We made the stay work, but future guests should have accurate expectations. At booking, I reached out after seeing prior reviews because we’re particularly sensitive to cleanliness and wanted to confirm this would be a good fit. The host reassured me the property would be especially clean. The listing says the property is “deep cleaned” between guests, but that was not our experience. There was noticeable pet odor, dust under beds, cobwebs, grime/soap scum in the bathroom, stained furniture, toothpaste residue, and ants. It felt surface cleaned, not deep cleaned. We were also locked out late at night with our young children. The instructions referenced a lockbox with a physical key, but there was no lockbox, the property uses keypad entry, and our code did not work. The host seemed unaware of the current access setup, which felt concerning. To their credit, they resolved it within about 30 minutes and refunded $100. I'm not sure who is managing this property but it needs help.

Great location, James was very great at communication and was very responsive. 10/10 would book again.

Property was clean and easy to feel at home. We had some issues getting the heat figured out but once that got taken care of we settled in ok. The TV remote was missing and sadly wasn't able to be taken care very quickly which was an inconvenience having younger kids, but not the end of the world.
