Location was great, we were close to everywhere and could walk or drive/uber to anywhere within minutes. It was walkable but still felt like a quiet street since it was tucked back. Parking situation was decent, we could always find parking within a block or so (weekend in May). Entrance/stairs were fine but if you have anyone with mobility limitations it has 2 short flights of stairs (1 outside 1 inside). Beds were all very comfortable, and the heat/ac was easy to sort out but half of the windows were missing screens. Our host was very quick to respond with any issues/questions that come up, and very helpful with check-in, providing clear and helpful instructions ahead of time. I will say the price you pay is definitely for location- other than the beds, there isn’t much space inside to hang out (couch is different from the listing pics, only fits two), but the coffee machine was a nice touch. Cleanliness was not great- mold in the bathroom& dust/grime on windows/blinds/floors.

Despite a WiFi problem which Kimberly communicated really well about (and found a way to fix quickly), everything went perfect! The house is beautiful, Portland is a great city too and Kimberly was always responsive and friendly. Would recommend 10/10! Kisses from three French people! 🫶🥰

Kimberly’s place was a great place to stay while we were in Portland! It was in a great location with lots of restaurants within walking distance. We totally enjoyed our stay!

Incredible price for the size and location, Kimberly was very responsive and it was easy to access the unit. May have been my misunderstanding but we realized when we arrived that this is an apartment, not a house - we still loved our stay, just had to be a little quieter than had it been a private home. Also the couch is not the one in the photo, so our group did not fit all together (also not an issue, just an adjustment). The rooms easily held all 5 of us, and we loved how close it is to the main Hawthorne strip! Very walkable and cute. Would stay here again!

Eclectic vintage shops, independent bookstores, and walkable dining along two of Portland's most iconic streets. Mt. Tabor Park, an extinct volcanic cinder cone with panoramic city views, is a short walk east.

Portland, Oregon, United States
Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District puts you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors, with no chain restaurants in sight! Make new friends over vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, get messy with wings right around the corner at Fire on the Mountain, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or opt for a fancy night out at Castagna—all within a 1.5-mile stretch. Portland isn't just for foodies; the vibrant indie spirit of Hawthorne is alive with plenty of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques to explore. Catch a movie at the Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. If bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor, a 196-acre city park atop a dormant volcano vent, where you’ll find miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city.
