A well-managed property in a city known for hospitality. We were in Unit 305, which has a welcoming entry vestibule with coat pegs and a bench for removing shoes. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked. There was an easy-to-use big screen TV in the living room. Our 2 bedrooms were comfortable with large closets. The two smallish bathrooms were clean, up-to-date and adequate. The neighborhood has quality services close at hand: A bakery/coffee shop very near, and within a few blocks 2 brunch spots, a poke shop, and the Lardo sandwich shop, all excellent. We didn't have a car, but Portland is very walkable. We used the very close #14 bus and the nearby #15 bus to access the convenient public transit system. We used ride shares 6 times to reach areas like the Japanese Garden and the charming Oaks Amusement Park. We were 3 adults and an athletic 8-year-old. In our 7-night stay we had no real issues, but the Hosts responded to inquiries within minutes. High marks.

Eclectic vintage shops, independent bookstores, and walkable dining along two of Portland's most iconic streets. Mt. Tabor Park, an extinct volcanic cinder cone with panoramic city views, is a short walk east.
