Lloyd District is directly across the Willamette River from downtown -- about 10 minutes by MAX, 5 minutes by car, or a 20-minute walk across the Steel or Burnside Bridge. Multiple MAX lines stop at the Lloyd Center/NE 11th Ave station.
The Oregon Convention Center, Moda Center (Trail Blazers, concerts), Veterans Memorial Coliseum, dozens of restaurants along NE Broadway and MLK, and the NE Portland neighborhoods of Irvington and Sullivan's Gulch. Note that Lloyd Center mall closed permanently on August 8, 2026 and is headed for demolition -- the MAX station keeps the name, but there is no mall to shop at.
