Free cancellationDowntown Portland hotels charge $200-400 per night for a room you can barely turn around in, plus $30-45 for parking and $15 for WiFi. Our homes in Portland's most walkable neighborhoods give you a full kitchen, living room, free parking, and a real sense of the city — all for less than most downtown hotels charge for a standard room.
We don't have properties in downtown Portland's hotel district — and that's the point. Portland's best restaurants, bars, and shops aren't downtown. They're on NW 23rd Avenue, in the Pearl District, along Hawthorne and Division Streets, on Alberta and Mississippi. Our homes put you in the neighborhoods locals actually spend time in, all within 10-20 minutes of downtown by foot, bike, or transit.
Every property listed here is in a walkable neighborhood with a Walk Score above 80. Step out your front door and you're already somewhere worth being — no Uber needed, no searching for parking, no $18 cocktails in a hotel lobby.
All properties on this page are within 10-20 minutes of downtown Portland by car, transit, or bike. Many in the Pearl District, NW 23rd, and inner SE are within walking distance. Portland's MAX light rail and streetcar connect most neighborhoods directly to the city center.
Portland's neighborhoods are where the city comes alive — the food carts, independent coffee shops, vintage boutiques, and craft breweries that make Portland famous. Downtown has corporate chains and office buildings. Our guests consistently say the neighborhood experience is the best part of their trip.
Most of our properties include free on-site parking — a driveway, garage, or dedicated spot. Downtown Portland hotels charge $25-45 per night for parking. Even properties without dedicated parking are in neighborhoods where street parking is free and available.
Not necessarily. All properties listed here are highly walkable with excellent transit access. Portland's MAX, streetcar, and bus system connect neighborhoods to downtown and each other. Many guests explore entirely on foot and by bike using Portland's Biketown bike-share.
NW 23rd/Nob Hill and the Pearl District offer the most concentrated restaurant and shopping scenes. Hawthorne and Division have Portland's signature quirky, independent vibe. Alberta is great for art galleries and diverse food. All are excellent bases for exploring the city.
