You're right off NE 28th Avenue - one of Portland's best restaurant rows - with Laurelhurst Park and its tree-lined residential streets just a few blocks south. It's a neighborhood where you can walk to a James Beard-worthy dinner, grab world-class tortas, and enjoy a neighborhood full of local favorites. Laurelhurst Market is the anchor - a steakhouse and in-house butcher shop that's been a longtime Portland favorite since 2009. Go for dinner (the butcher-cut steaks are outstanding) or stop by the counter during the day for sandwiches and charcuterie. Güero is our favorite torta spot in the city - it's a favorite for a relaxed lunch or dinner. Montelupo is a proper Italian market and restaurant with a market full of Italian provisions. For a casual night, Big's Chicken does Alabama-style fried chicken from the same team behind Laurelhurst Market - the smoked chicken is a favorite. Crema Coffee + Bakery is a short walk for morning coffee and some of the best house-baked pastries in Portland. We enjoyed the stay in Aaron place. We were 4 adults and there was enough space for 4 people. One thing I will mention is the parking is a little challenging. We parked 2 blocks away. We like to walk, and it was not a problem for us, but if you are disabled this is not for you. There is an event area across the street, and when were there it was loud at times. Most weekends are quieter I would imagine. A very good space to stay overall.

Great and cozy top floor place within walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and coffee shops. Really enjoyed our brief stay and Aaron was great with communication and gracious enough to coordinate an early check in so we could get there in time for our little one’s nap, which we really appreciated. Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely look it up next time we are in town!

Apartment was perfectly clean and attractive. Easy walk to coffee shops, restaurants. Aaron was both proactive and very quickly responsive in all communications, and his directions made access and checking out easy and stress-free.

Aaron was easy to communicate with and even offered that we could check in early as the place was ready before check in time. The place was just as described and clean. Area is family friendly. Restaurants and bars at walking distance. Instructions on how to get in were very clear. I would definitely stay again! Thanks!!
