AJ was super responsive/friendly and the place was overall okay. The location was really great! Walking distance to a lot of great restaurants, shops, etc. It had everything we needed and the AC worked great. We did have a couple of things that we wanted to note. The first is that the shower barely had hot water, meaning we had to sit through 3-5 minutes of ice cold water for every 10 seconds of hot water. The second thing is that the floor of the loft area was very very dusty/dirty.

Cozy place just a block from Hawthorne. Plenty of space for city stay. The street the main house is on is pretty busy; be prepared to park on the next side street.

The tiny home was wonderful! There were some initial mishaps, but AJ was very responsive and proactive. The all wood interior gave it a warm cabin feel, but still clean and modern. No microwave, but kitchen was otherwise well equipped with toaster, basic cooking utensils, salt & pepper, and some herbs. Also, great coffee! Something to be aware is that the gas hot water boiler is fed from propane tanks, and it seems that it simply can't produce enough hot water or possibly just not fast enough to create a steady supply even for a quick shower. The result is that the hot water will tap out and get cold before needing a bit of time to warm up again. I think this is possibly why some people in previous reviews thought the hot water was broken. If you can manage your hot shower expectation, then you should be good. Otherwise, very convenient location with some dining options nearby that are open past 9p. Cozy bed and mini sofa to relax & everything else you need for a lovely stay.

The tiny house was clean and well-designed. It was a perfect space for what we needed. The only issue was the shower did not stay hot consistently. It would fluctuate between warm and cold every so often. Other than that, it was a comfortable place to stay.
