This apartment was clean, quiet and comfortable and it had everything we needed for our stay in Portland. The location was great - near restaurants, stores and interesting neighborhoods. We would definitely stay there again.

Matthew’s place is well managed. Central yet quiet. Parking on street is easy. All is nice and clean. Dining …. I wouldn’t want to cook in the minimally equipped (except a (date?) spice collection!) kitchen. While there were plentiful kuerig coffees, there were only just enough mugs. Also glasses, and cups … wonder if this is in response thievery?? Airbnb can be hard. Thanks to Mathew!

Had a great stay! The apartment was comfortable and met our needs well enough, mainly the location was incredible. The host Matthew was very responsive and helpful with the one small issue we had, overall very satisfied with the stay and would book again

Eclectic vintage shops, independent bookstores, and walkable dining along two of Portland's most iconic streets. Mt. Tabor Park, an extinct volcanic cinder cone with panoramic city views, is a short walk east.

Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District puts you within walking distance to a wide variety of top-notch local flavors (no chain restaurants here!) Make new friends over some vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, get messy with some wings right around the corner at Fire on the Mountain, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or opt for a fancy night out at Castagna - all within a 1.5 mile stretch. Portland isn't just for foodies. There’s vibrant indie spirit in Hawthorne, with lots of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques to explore here in hipster heaven. Or, catch a movie at Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. If bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor, a 196-acre city park on top of a dormant volcano vent, where you’ll find miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city.
