Connor’s place was a great place to stay for our family—spacious, comfortable, well-equipped, and in a great location. Parking was super easy and convenient. Our only issue was noise from the upstairs guests at night. The floorboards squeaked with every step they took above the bedrooms, which wasn't a problem during the day, but we were unlucky with very late-night activity from upstairs guests (until 1 - 2 AM) that kept us awake every night (Wed-Fri) even with white noise machines on in both rooms. Looking at other reviews, this doesn't seem to be a common problem, so it was likely just a combination of heavy footsteps and active late night guests. We finally figured out on the last night that turning on both bedroom fans helped drown out the sound enough. I think the fact that we couldn't get much sleep during our whole trip (we have a young child) I cannot give a high rating. Otherwise, I'd say this was great place that we’d still recommend.

Portland, Oregon, United States
Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District places you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors. Make new friends over a bite at the Cartopia food cart pod, or share a pie at Apizza Scholls. But Portland isn't just for foodies. Hawthorne boasts a vibrant indie spirit, with plenty of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques to explore in this hipster haven. Catch a movie at Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. If bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor, a 176-acre city park on top of a dormant volcano vent, where you’ll find miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city.
