Awesome stay, would recommend!

We loved staying at this cozy home. Walkable to some great spots and the host had great clear proactive communication and was very accommodating getting a pack and play set up for our baby. Would recommend!

Mixed review —-James was very communicative. Especially when we arrived and an AC unit was broken and a sink clogged. These issues were fixed promptly. I must say the pictures are misleading and highly touched up and I don’t think accurately depict the space. The “studio” is a basement room down dark steps. Unclear if sheets were clean there and there is a strong basement smell. House has duct tape on windows in places and no screens. I think it was overpriced for what we received which was not accurately depicted in photos.

James was very responsive and nice when we needed him. There were a few items that need addressed but I have no doubt they will be soon. We liked the locations as it was close to all the events we had planned. Very close to the Moda center, which was great.

James was very communicative and responsive. We were disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t working during our stay as that was the deciding factor to book his home, but he provided a discount which we appreciated. Appreciates having 4 real beds!

Dirty, unsafe and uncomfortable This is the worst house rental property we've ever stayed at...which is saying something given we've stayed at over 40 rental homes globally in the last 10 years. It was extremely dirty - ants everywhere in the bathroom, pink mold in the shower, trash left from previous guests, spider webs everywhere, dirty/stopped up sinks, dank/moist mother-in-law suite in the basement with little to no ventilation, etc. There were some unsafe areas of the home that were conveniently left off the listing pictures as well - fence falling on the hot tub, busted/badly splintered hand rail leading to the main entrance, a dangerous corner right outside the bathroom that my kids almost fell down several times. I couldn't stay at this property with my children and my mom - we felt dirty and unsafe. There was also no laundry which was listed as a fav feature on the original listing. The host did not respond when I reached out months in advance to confirm there was A/C in every bedroom (there wasn't). The host was not willing to give us a refund so now we are having to escalate with VRBO and potentially get a legal team involved...which we will do given the extreme price of this property. Cost did not even come close to value. I would not be leaving a scathing review if the host would've worked with us. Reimbursing us only for nights rebooked was the only thing offered, why should we take a financial loss for this place? Absolutely not. Stay away from this host and the property.
