You're in Kerns - one of NE Portland's best-kept secrets for food. The neighborhood is centered around the 28th Avenue restaurant corridor, where you can walk to Korean and Cuban dining, craft beer, and Vietnamese food. Han Oak is the standout - chef Peter Cho's Korean restaurant. Check the current menu and plan ahead for reservations. Pambiche is a Portland institution serving Cuban food. Explore the Cuban dishes and cocktails. No reservations, just walk in. Friendship Kitchen does incredible Vietnamese food with creative cocktails - explore the current menu for a meal out. Migration Brewing is our go-to for craft beer - check the Glisan brewpub for current offerings. Seven Virtues Coffee Roasters is a neighborhood coffee roaster - the perfect morning start. A few of our favorites nearby: Han Oak - Korean dining (plan ahead) · Pambiche - Cuban dining, walk-in seating, don't skip dessert · Friendship Kitchen - Vietnamese food · Migration Brewing - craft beer at the Glisan brewpub · Seven Virtues - neighborhood coffee roaster The neighborhood is flat, walkable, and well connected by bus. You're a short ride to Hawthorne, Burnside, and downtown, but with this many options on your doorstep, you may not want to leave.

We had a great stay! The house was so clean, a lot of charm and character, and so spacious for a group of 7! It was great how many beds there were in this house. Street parking was easy, the neighborhood was quiet, and it's an easy walk to tons of food and drink options. Would definitely recommend staying here with a larger group!

The place was exactly as advertised, Kendra couldn't have been more friendly, and the place is surrounded by all that Portland has to offer. Great home for a visit.

There was a smell in the house. From the way it flared people's asthma and allergies was crazy. There was a leak in the ceiling which was then absorbed by floor. This was in a room where the AC was not working. There were no blinds and the house felt very exposed. The knobs felt loose and the tiles in the upstairs bathroom felt loose. There is no light in on the stairs. This house is not suitable for anyone to stay in. The host did her best to be helpful and work with Airbnb support to help us get moved from this house.

Great place. We needed a team house for a conference at the Convention Center, and this house worked well for us.
