Kimberly was a very responsive host. However, this apartment needs a lot of work. As soon as we walked in, we could smell mildew/mold. The claw foot tub could be a cool feature, except the coating is coming off; little pieces were falling off just from water hitting it during showers. The shower curtains also don't go all the way around, making it impossible to avoid getting water on the floor and no privacy. The baseboards and walls were dirty, with orange mildew on the walls. The bathroom is very small with nowhere to set things down; shower supplies are outside of the shower, so every time you reach for soap, more water gets on the floor. (Issues with the bathroom were mentioned in a review a year ago, so unfortunately things haven't improved). There was trash left from previous guests in the kitchen. The dishes were dirty and we had to clean them before use. The tops of the sugar/creamer canisters were also dirty. There was only 1 fork available for use, and limited other utensils.

Efficient. It provided everything that was necessary and it was spacious and generally clean. Some things were stained, damaged or broken, particularly the window shade which was a critical feature as the apartment was on the ground floor of a busy street and the bus stopped directly in front of the window. We improvised with a clean hand towel.
