The house is in a great location. There is lots of places to eat and little shops to check out on Hawthorne, right around the corner. There is also a Fred Meyer right on the corner. There are other tenants living in other parts of the home. The beds were all very comfortable. Some of the furniture showed a bit of wear and decor was a bit sparse but all in all it was a comfortable stay for our family with 3 children.

Great location with so much to walk to! Big space, very comfortable beds and living room, and easy to unwind in this cool old house. Host was very responsive and helpful!

AJ's home was wonderful. Check in was easy, the home was clean, and all amenities were as described. AJ was very communicative and provided clear instructions for everything. Some additional highlights that I appreciated were having multiple ways to unlock the home. AJ has an electric lock and keypad on the front door. The code didn't always work for me (99% chance I was doing it wrong), but AJ also provided access to a portal website that I could use to unlock the front door, which worked perfectly every time. I also appreciated the short checkout to do list. One of the cons of Airbnb is needing to do chores at the end of your stay, but this did not apply to AJ's place! Overall, wonderful place to stay if you are interested in exploring the Portland area, especially the South East side.
