Apartment was as shown in pictures. Jeff was responsive and helpful. The area was quite noisy in the morning, and the walls are thin (normal neighbor sounds, but loud), just something to consider if traveling with kids as I was.

This was a nice place to stay. Convenient location. Easy to access. Well appointed. Responsive host.

Simon
We thoroughly enjoyed the Belmont neighborhood!! And nearby Laurelhurst Park was great for my dog.

Had a relaxing stay at this apartment and enjoyed exploring the neighborhood. Will come again! We loved the bath tub, pet friendly policy, and location! It was also very nice to have a full kitchen and an area for lounging and doing yoga. The AC unit was helpful as it was quite warm the days we were in Portland. The bed was very comfortable. The neighborhood was perfect for walking our dog, and the local cafes and restaurants were delicious! There was a bit of loud noise from other guests in the hallway or the apartment above us at times, but nothing that the provided sound machine and self-provided ear plugs couldn't help with. The black out curtains were also helpful for the early sunlight.

The place was very conveniently located, easy to walk or catch the bus to lots of great restaurants and shops. We loved having a fridge to stash leftovers from all the delicious places nearby :) We visited for a wedding and when we couldn't find the iron, Jeff was on it and had one dropped to us quickly!

Portland's most eclectic, walkable neighborhoods — Hawthorne, Division, Belmont, and Clinton — with independent shops, food carts, and vibrant dining.

Portland, Oregon, United States
Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District places you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors—no chain restaurants here! Enjoy vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or opt for an elegant night out at Castagna—all within a 1.5-mile stretch. But Portland isn’t just for foodies. The vibrant indie spirit of Hawthorne is alive with a multitude of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques, making it a true hipster haven. Catch a movie at Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. If bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor. This 196-acre city park, located atop a dormant volcano vent, offers miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city, providing a perfect escape into nature right within the city limits. Whether you're a foodie, a nature enthusiast, or someone who loves exploring unique shops, the Hawthorne/Buckman District has something special for everyone.
