East Burnside is Portland's best-kept-secret restaurant row - less crowded than the popular spots but packed with some of the city's most talked-about food. Kann is in the nearby Central Eastside - Haitian-inspired, live-fire cooking from a Top Chef alum. It's one of the hardest reservations in Portland for a reason. Screen Door is a few blocks away and serves some of the best Southern brunch on the West Coast - the fried chicken and waffles are legendary (get there early on weekends or check their reservation options). For a low-key night in, Dimo's Apizza does incredible New Haven-style pizza from a wood-fired oven - order a whole pie for a relaxed night in. When you need a break from eating, Laurelhurst Theatre is a classic Portland movie pub - catch a film with a beer and a slice. And for something special, Knot Springs is nearby with soaking pools, sauna, steam room, and cold plunge overlooking the city skyline. This Airbnb was a great choice and located in a great part of Portland. It was very clean and spacious. The host made check in very easy and always responded rapidly to my messages. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Portland!

Great place to stay for a night in Portland! Walkable to some amazing restaurants and bars, and Laurelhurst park. Was a great place to land and very clean. Host was super helpful and friendly and kindly gave us an early check-in! Note that the bed is up against a wall so one person has to scooch off the bottom of the bed to get out if there are two of you.

We loved our stay here! The Kerns location was extremely convenient for getting around the city and there were plenty of great bars and restaurants in walking distance. As noted in other reviews, the apartment is literally overlooking a school, and there are kids outside screaming and playing outside from around 9am - 4pm every weekday. Not a problem if you plan to be out and about exploring the city during the day though. Kimberly was really responsive when we had questions and was very friendly.
