Charming Home, Wonderful Neighborhood!

My parents who are 79 and 81 stayed at this place when they came to visit. They don't have Airbnb so I set it up for them. Here's my dad's review: "The house is lovely, a hundred-year-old home surrounded by beautiful plants in a charming, accessible neighborhood with friendly neighbors. A few drawbacks: Although it sleeps three, the layout may be deceptive. Getting upstairs requires navigating about ten steps through a tight space, and there's no bathroom upstairs. The bathtub is wonderful for a relaxing soak, but showering is tricky because water gets on the floor. Temperature control was also an issue. When it was cold, the thermostat didn't seem to work independently. We called to have the temperature adjusted, and the house warmed up for a day but was cold again the next day. Overall, it's a very nice house with lots of character, but the bathroom layout and temperature issues kept it from being a five-star stay."

We had a great stay in Colleen’s lovely, well equipped home. Will definitely stay again. It’s a really fun neighborhood to walk in and a good one for walkable restaurants and stores. The parking is stated “two spots in front” on Air BandB, but the spots were occupied throughout our stay. It is public, on street parking in Portland so “first come, first served” is the reality. No big deal though as we were always able to find another spot on a nearby curb . The owner was very responsive, helpful and a pleasure to interact with. I’d definitely rent this house again.

I need a last minute night place to state im area and Colleen's place was perfect. She committed clearly and Promptly. I'll definitely stay again

We came to visit our grandchildren and it was perfect! The house is very ‘homey’ and accommodating. We love the neighborhood and Colleen’s yard and back garden are lovely.
