Boutique shopping, cozy restaurants, and tree-lined Victorian streets at the base of Forest Park — Portland's 5,200-acre urban forest.
Portland, Oregon, United States
Welcome to Northwest Portland—one of the city’s most iconic and beloved neighborhoods. Nestled in the heart of the historic Alphabet District, this walkable enclave blends old Portland charm with a vibrant, modern lifestyle. Tree-lined streets and beautifully preserved homes give the area a timeless feel, while just around the corner, NW 23rd Avenue (affectionately known as “Trendy Third”) buzzes with life. This popular stretch is packed with locally owned boutiques, chef-driven restaurants, cozy cafés, cocktail bars, and dessert spots like Salt & Straw and Papa Haydn. Whether you’re up for a leisurely brunch, window shopping, or an evening of wine and small plates, it’s all right outside your door. Outdoor lovers will appreciate being minutes from Washington Park—home to the world-renowned Japanese Garden, International Rose Test Garden, and Oregon Zoo. Just beyond that lies Forest Park, one of the largest urban forests in the U.S., offering over 80 miles of hiking and biking trails through lush Pacific Northwest wilderness. Cultural highlights are also close at hand. Spend an afternoon browsing the Portland Art Museum, catch an indie film at historic Cinema 21, or explore nearby galleries and pop-up events. The neighborhood frequently hosts farmers’ markets, art walks, and street fairs that make you feel like part of the local rhythm. With its unbeatable mix of walkability, dining, nature, and culture, this location offers an authentic Portland experience that keeps guests coming back.

Great location!
Itzel
Clean, quiet, cute place in a great neighborhood. Easy to find and many options for both short & long term parking close by (we used Spot Hero). There is a pet odor upon entry, however, that's to be expected with pet friendly listings. Host is very responsive. We enjoyed our stay here & would definitely recommend!

Great location.

Unfortunately, the unit had a foul odor of pets, trash and harsh cleaner-type chemicals that did not resolve after 6 hours of windows open. The bathroom sink leaked water from its base all over the bathroom, and the unit felt tired, with stained chairs and couch. We had difficulties accessing the unit, which Connor was helpful with, but the code did not match. Once we had additional issues with the odor and bathroom sink leak, Connor acknowledged the sink but did not respond to other concerns. We had to check out and find other rooms in which to stay. Not a good value for the money.

Connor was a great communicator and was very helpful.

Stayed here while attending a concert at Providence Park. Convenient location next to many independent shops and restaurants with a quick walk to the venue. Parking was easier than anticipated. Connor's instructions were clear and accurate. He was communicative as well. Unit appeared as described and shown in pictures. Great stay!
