Boutique shopping, cozy restaurants, and tree-lined Victorian streets at the base of Forest Park — Portland's 5,200-acre urban forest.
Also close by: Washington Park
You're at NW 25th & Upshur, on the north edge of Nob Hill — two blocks from NW 23rd Avenue and a few blocks from Forest Park. Eat & drink: The Fireside and Salt & Straw's famous ice cream are on NW 23rd, with dozens more restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops along 23rd and 21st. Forest Park: walk straight up Upshur to the Lower Macleay Park trailhead — miles of forest trails from your front door, no car needed. Wallace Park is nearby — playground, basketball courts, and room for the dog to stretch. NW 23rd is Portland's favorite shopping street: local boutiques, vintage shops, and the Alphabet District's preserved Victorian architecture. Providence Park (Timbers and Thorns matches) is another destination to explore.

Kendra was a great host with great communication. The place was within walking distance of many restaurants and sites. We even took an enjoyable walk all the way down to the rose gardens. Good area to base ourselves and would stay again.

Kendra went above and beyond for our weekend in Portland! The place was cute and so many walkable things around. Can’t wait to come back and rent the whole building next time I’m in town!

We really enjoyed staying here. It was a quiet place to call home during our trip but close enough to 23rd to enjoy bopping around the neighborhood. It was also a quick uber to get downtown or to the other neighbourhoods for more food and adventures. The space was small and clean. Parking is a bit of a chore but I think that will be the case in most places in Portland and we were able to find free street parking after a little looking around.

This place was wonderful. Everything is perfect about it. We enjoyed the bed. The comfort of the space. Very well laid out. We loved walking to the cafés. And grocery stores were close. There is a beautiful park up the street and a lovely forest. The tree lined streets were beautiful as well. We found the parking very easy. This is a wonderful Airbnb. We would definitely stay there again. It’s one of our favorites.

Kendra was a very responsive host and the apartment was a perfect landing spot for getting around Portland. Street parking was a bit tricky but we could usually grab a spot within a block with a few laps.
