WPA travel-poster illustration of The Adelynn passing from day to night: a four-storey Spanish-style building in pale sage stucco with a clay-tile eave on timber rafters, arched window bays and a black brick ground floor, seen from its corner on NE 23rd under a big street tree, with the street running on past a sage Craftsman house on one side and a low white workshop on the other, its paired wall sconces washing the stucco with warm light after dark

About The Adelynn

The Adelynn is a new Spanish-style building on NE 23rd Avenue in Kerns: a clay-tile roof on timber rafters, arched windows, and twelve homes behind one stucco front. Six are townhomes and six are studios, and every one has its own front door. It opened in August 2025 and has hosted more than 800 stays since.

Each townhome is four floors and 1,520 square feet. The kitchen, dining table and living room take the second floor; the five bedrooms (four queens and a full) are spread across the other three, with two and a half baths, a washer and dryer, and room for ten. Every townhome has a studio next to it, and the two book together as one six-bedroom home for twelve.

The studios are 300 square feet for two: a queen bed, a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker, and a private entrance. Every home in the building has air conditioning.

Han Oak is a four-minute walk. The restaurants and bars on NE 28th Avenue, and the Laurelhurst Theater, are ten to fifteen minutes on foot, and the Lloyd Center MAX station is about fifteen. Booked together, the building holds thirty bedrooms and up to seventy-two guests, which is why wedding parties, reunions and teams take several townhomes side by side.

Questions about The Adelynn

Which home fits our group?

A studio sleeps two. A townhome has five bedrooms and sleeps ten. A townhome booked with the studio beside it has six bedrooms and sleeps twelve. Past twelve, take two or more townhomes: the building holds up to seventy-two guests, and we can hold several homes for the same dates.

How does check-in work at The Adelynn?

Every home has its own front door with a smart lock. You get a unique door code and directions before you arrive, so there is nobody to meet and no key to collect. Check-in is from 4:00 PM. Check-out is 10:00 AM in half the homes and 11:00 AM in the other half; the time for yours is on its page and in your confirmation.

Are there stairs?

Yes, in the townhomes. Each one is four floors with stairs between them: a bedroom and half bath on the ground floor, the kitchen and living room on the second, and two bedrooms and a full bath on each of the third and fourth. There is no elevator, so if anyone in your group cannot manage stairs, tell us before you book.

Can we book several homes next to each other?

Yes. Call us with your dates and headcount and we will hold the townhomes and studios together, rather than you booking them one at a time and hoping they all stay available. The whole building is thirty bedrooms and up to seventy-two guests.

Are pets allowed?

Some homes in the building accept pets and some do not. Each home's page states its own pet policy, so check the one you are booking before you arrive with one.

Is parking available?

Parking is on the street and free, on NE 23rd Avenue and the blocks around it. The homes have no on-site parking, so a group arriving in several cars should expect to park along the surrounding blocks.

What is nearby?

Han Oak is a four-minute walk. NE 28th Avenue, ten to fifteen minutes on foot, has the neighbourhood's restaurants and bars, including Güero for tortas and Too Soon for cocktails, and the Laurelhurst Theater is at its south end. The Lloyd Center MAX station is about fifteen minutes away on foot, and the Convention Center and Moda Center are a short drive.

Do you charge booking fees?

No. Booking direct with Stay Portland means no booking fee, which is typically a saving against the same home on Airbnb or Vrbo. Cleaning and taxes are shown before you pay.
