Let me start with saying that James was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to accommodate an address the small issues we had while staying. The hot tub unfortunately was out of order during our stay and needed full replacement, but James was accommodating to our booking because of that. The hot water proved to be enough for a soak in the tub however, there was a leak when I went to relax that caused a little bit of a panic. James was responsive and had maintenance over the next day and repaired it while we were out, as we requested. I will say if you chill easy or are prone to cold this is not the house for you. The only bathroom is upstairs and the bedroom up there stay quite warm. However, the split unit keeps the bottom quite drafty and cold. It is an old house in James was kind to provide space heaters. Extra blankets are a great idea for this place as well. Other than that, we were pleased with our stay and would recommend this space to anyone that is able bodied

Beautiful house. Very well decorated. Excellent location, close to everything. Yet the property itself felt so secluded and private.

This place was nice, but the hot tube wasn't working and the heating unit was making a lot of wining noise which got frustrating. There was also just a lack of extra towels and blankets to use.The host was responsive, but I paid for a hot tube and not having that working was really frustrating.

Host is extremely professional and communicative but the air bnb is a bit underwhelming/ empty feeling. Hot tub broke shortly before my stay which certainly is not the host’s fault, but would be the biggest reason to stay here. I’m sure it’ll be operational asap but for my stay felt like an extra note of something to be desired.

James was probably the most friendly and effective at communicating with me about the property. If I come to Portland again I will certainly check to see if this place is available.
