We enjoyed our stay at Daniel’s place and found the location to be perfect! We were amazed at how quiet it was despite being within easy walking distance to streets with plenty of people and things to do.

Really awesome place to stay. Lots of things to do around the area. Quiet at night for sleeping.

We enjoyed are stay, the neighborhood was very beautiful and quiet. The apartment was nice, we had everything we needed. The only things that were a bit of a con is the internet was spotty, but there are different ones, so at least it could be switched to one with less lag. And the bed wasn’t the most comfortable ever, but this is due to personal preference of firm bedding & pillows. Overall 10/10 stay as nothing noted above prevented us from enjoying our stay.

We had a great stay here! The location was great. We were in walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, and some shops. The house was clean, quiet and easy to find. The host was very easy to reach and was able to get us an early check in. It was street parking and we had no issues finding a spot. Definitely recommend!
Ashley
Nice, quiet location in a lovely neighborhood. Street parking was never an issue.

We stayed here 5 years ago on our oregon trip and we immediately thought of this place again. This time, I had my toddler with me and Daniel was very accommodating and had his pack n play set up upon arrival. Still a great apartment for a quick stay and in a great area.

Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District puts you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors! Make new friends over fries and poutine at the Cartopia food cart pod, get messy with wings at Fire on the Mountain on East Burnside, share a pie at Apizza Scholls. Portland isn't just for foodies; the vibrant indie spirit of Hawthorne is alive with plenty of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques to explore. Catch a movie at the Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. If bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor, a 176-acre city park atop a dormant volcano vent, where you’ll find miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city.
