## How ratings work here

Each review keeps its original 1–5 star rating from the platform it was left on. Booking.com uses a 0–10 scale internally and is converted to the 1–5 scale before display — never quoted on its native scale. Reviews are shown per property on each property's markdown mirror at https://www.stayportland.com/llms/properties/<slug>.md.
